PRWC

The Pomperaug River Watershed Coalition uses science to understand how human activities impact the quality and quantity of water both in rivers and in the underground aquifers. They share that understanding with communities and find tangible ways to take care of our most valuable resource - water.

HVA

The Housatonic Valley Association (HVA) brings together a wide range of people and organizations that are deeply concerned about the resources and environmental quality of the Housatonic River Valley. Together, they protect land and water throughout the entire 2,000-square-mile, tri-state Housatonic Watershed.

FRWA

With the help of members, volunteers and the community, the Farmington River Watershed Association (FRWA) leads in the protection and restoration of the Farmington River. FRWA addresses issues that affect the river and its surrounding landscape through research, education, and advocacy programs.

NCLC

Founded in 1965, Northwest Connecticut Land Conservancy is the state’s largest land trust. As a guardian of natural and working lands, public recreation areas, and drinking water resources, NCLC permanently protects 13,000 acres (and growing) of vast, connected natural areas in Litchfield and northern Fairfield Counties.

Rivers Alliance

Rivers Alliance of Connecticut's mission is to protect all the waters of Connecticut. They promote and support good water policies statewide, assist environmental groups, businesses, and individuals who seek to improve the quality of local waters, and offer educational services for experts and beginners.

The nationally accredited Kent Land Trust serves its community by protecting Northwest Connecticut's nature and beauty through direct ownership of land, conservation easements on privately-owned land, and assistance to residents practicing sustainable land management.
